1、 2010 Annual Report Dear Fellow Stockholders:We are very pleased with our performance in 2010 as we had strong organic revenue growth and profitability.Our focus on managing costs and headcount along with some large assignments enabled us to achieve robust utilization and outstanding margins.During

2、the year we were engaged by our clients on over 5,000 assignments.While clients often turn to Exponent based on the depth of our knowledge in a particular technology,environmental or health area,on major investigations we are typically retained because of our unique multi-disciplinary team of scient

3、ists,engineers,physicians,and regulatory consultants.For the full year,total revenues increased 9%to$248.8 million and revenues before reimbursements increased 8%to$221.9 million.Net income increased 24%to$27.5 million,or$1.83 per diluted share,and EBITDA increased 25%to$50.8 million.During 2010,Exp

4、onent generated$36.1 million in cash flow from operations and closed the year with$106.5 million in cash,cash equivalents and short-term investments.In 2010 we had notable performances in defense technology development,mechanics and materials,and human factors practices,as well as our environmental

5、and health groups.During the year we were successful in expanding our client base in defense technology development to include three European countries.In mechanics and materials and human factors,we worked on a broad portfolio of projects in both failure analysis as well as design consulting for a

6、cross-section of industries including consumer products,medical devices,transportation and energy.In our environmental and health groups we performed in-depth scientific studies to understand both the short-and long-term impacts of chemicals in the environment.As we enter 2011,we expect demand to co
