In conclusion, the International Youth Energy and Climate Change Summit is a global forum initiated and participated by the world’s youth societies, co-initiated by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United Nations Environment Programme and the California State Government. The aim of this summit is to mobilize the strength of youth to improve global energy and climate policies, promote global sustainable development and guide governments and societies to bear their responsibilities. The summit intends to promote the common planning and implementation of youth global energy and climate action plan to enhance their ability to participate in global energy change agenda, improve the understanding and participation of global countries, especially developing countries, in global energy and climate agenda with the help of international experts, and promote the transformation of global energy policy towards more sustainable development. It is hoped that this summit will serve as an informal framework for international society to make contribution to the global energy agenda and bring about a consensus and practical action for global sustainable development.
