3、 2023The global distribution of cobalt reserves is highly concentrated.According to statistics from the UnitedStates Geological Survey(USGS),the global proven cobalt reserves amount to 11 million mt.The distributionof cobalt reserves is extremely uneven,with countries such as the Democratic Republic

4、 of Congo(DRC)andAustralia being the most enriched.The DRCs share of cobalt reserves is 54.5%,followed by Australia with15.45%and Indonesia with 4.55%.The reserves are distributed in small amounts in other countries.Congo(DRC):In 2023,the DRC has about 6 million tonnes of existing cobalt reserves,ac

5、counting for thelargest share globally and making it the largest cobalt-producing country,accounting for over 75%ofglobal cobalt production.The grade is mostly between 0.3%-0.5%,and the quality is comprehensivelysuperior to other sources.Australia:In 2023,Australia has 1.7 million mt of existing cob
