2、ual basis.These reports provide detailed information on the efforts and achievements of AUO in economic,social,and environmental indicators.The company adopted the internationally recognized reporting standards,the 2006 edition of G3 Global Reporting Initiatives Sustainability Reporting Guidelines,a

3、s a framework and reference basis for CSR Report in 2007 to fully disclose AUOs accomplishments.In sync with international trends,the company reported economic,environmental,and social strategies in accordance with the GRI G4 Comprehensive starting in 2014 to assess its sustainability development an

4、d to convey its values and performance to external parties.Boundary and ScopeThe disclosure in this report covers the achievements and performance of AUOs global sites in the area of corporate social responsibility from January to December 2016.The report boundary encompasses existing sites in Taiwa

5、n,China,other Asian countries,the U.S.,and Europe.As the Tainan Site and Kaohsiung Site joined AUO Group in October 2016 and Kunshan Site opened in 2016,the data of these sites was shown only in the number of employees and greenhouse gas inventory.If indicators of other regions are involved,they wil

6、l be indicated in the report.In addition to AUO,important information pertaining to subsidiaries and suppliers is also included to disclose the sense of responsibility and influence of the AUO value chain.The data for 2016 included in this report has been verified by an independent third-party and i
