4、Over the coming twelve months,NZOG will be drilling in the order of 10 wells,into a range ofprospects from appraisal wells designed to increase oil reserves and flow rates from existingdiscoveries,to wildcat exploration wells with“company maker”potential.In Taranaki,the next well is likely to be in
5、the Ngatoro licence where we are confident of locatingadditional oil reserves which can rapidly be brought into production.Also in Taranaki,the Opito and Tui prospects stand out for their high upside.A discovery in eithercould impact very favourably on NZOGs near term future.In Western Australia,the
6、 first well in the 2000/2001 programme was drilled in September,resultingin the Tusk oil discovery.While it is early in the appraisal of the Tusk oilfield,there is good reason foroptimism and further drilling may be expected in the next few months.The past financial years loss of$10.7 million includ
