3、nessed a substantial increase in the gold price and a considerable turnaround in broader market sentiment.It is against this background that I take great pleasure in presenting our 2016 Annual Report,which provides a summary of what has proved a transformative year for Middle Island.I am particularl

4、y pleased to report that in 2H16,your company topped the ASX explorers league tables with a 1,116%increase in market capitalisation(Austex Mining Pty Ltd presentation,25/08/2016).The catalyst for this was the successful acquisition of the advanced Sandstone Gold Project in Western Australia,to which

5、 end I am pleased to be able to deliver on a long-standing commitment that is entirely consistent with the Companys strategy.Having reviewed over 300 project opportunities,the Directors believe that Sandstone represents the right acquisition,in the right jurisdiction,at the right time,in the right c

6、ommodity-gold.While all this is a solid start,the hard work is really just beginning.We look forward to completing the feasibility work in December 2016 and,assuming a positive outcome,proceeding to recommission the Sandstone gold operation in the September quarter of 2017.The Company raised an aggr
