2、or years.Our dredging segment reported record revenue and robust earnings,buoyed by a strong bidding market,excellent domestic utilization,continued rationalization of older equipment and strong claims management.We are also very pleased that our strategic initiative to broaden our capabilities and

3、expand into complementary markets was evident as our Terra Contracting acquisition delivered results above our expectations.We rapidly integrated Terra into the GLDD family,developed growth initiatives,and closely coordinated with our Rivers&Lakes Division and TerraSea joint venture to achieve progr

4、ess in the environmental&remediation segment of our Company.The excellent execution of our dredging and environmental businesses,coupled with a successful year of bidding and the achievement of near-record backlog,positions the Company for an exciting 2014 and beyond.The first half of 2013 was highl

5、ighted by the work our dredging team performed to prepare for and win the contract for the PortMiami deepening.Our previous dredging experience in Miami,along with our world-class engineering and operating expertise,resulted in winning the complex and competitive proposal process.This PortMiami cont

6、ract is historic in size as the largest single dredging contract ever awarded by the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers.We were delighted to be awarded this project which is valued at$206 million for all three phases of work.We prepared our equipment,readied our staff,and completed detailed planning in the
