3、ndations outline a path forward.The new government should:1.take a light-touch approach to AI regulation;2.unlock data;3.address the digital skills gap by aligning training and education with industry needs;4.use government funding to support research and development(R&D)commercialisation;and 5.supp

4、ort the digital transformation of the public sector.RECOMMENDATION 1:TAKE A LIGHT-TOUCH APPROACH TO AI REGULATION The previous government landed on a set of pro-innovation,cross-sectoral AI governance principles to balance safety and innovation.The current government should continue down this path t
