3、g up on last years research,we ran four extensive nationally representative polls ofadults across the US and the UK,asking the public their views on a range of AI issues:theirfeelings towards it,how they use AI today,how they expected it to evolve,and what theywanted the Government to do in response
4、.This report explores the findings from our UK surveywork.TodayThe most commonly chosen emotion by UK residents for their feelings around AI wascuriosity-but they were also around a fifth more likely to choose negative emotionscompared to last year.Only around a third(31%)of UK adults said that they
5、 were confident they could explainhow modern AI models worked.In practice,people still seemed to be unsure aboutthe AI models relative strengths and weaknesses:thinking that they were best atmaths,and weakest at sounding sympathetic.Only around 13%of UK residents are currently using LLM based chatbo
